Are you up to the challenge? There are 400,000 children in adoption care today nationwide. Will you stand in the gap for hurting children needing love and attention? Just today I spoke with a friend who was unaware of the plight of orphans. She had no idea the need was so great and the look on her face said it all. She cried as I told her about the plight of those children who are sex-trafficked and the growing epidemic we face in today’s culture.
We, you and I, can make a difference in someone’s life. Can you open your home for foster care to some of these children? The need is great, but we serve a God who is bigger still.
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1:27
